La source de la magie noire

En abordant ce sujet, nous empiétons sur le royaume du mystère et le domaine de l'inexplicable. On peut néanmoins énoncer ici quelques affirmations qui, si on les médite, peuvent jeter un peu de lumière sur cette obscure question.

Premièrement. Il faut se souvenir que toute la question du mal planétaire (et les étudiants doivent distinguer soigneusement le mal planétaire du mal cosmique) gît cachée dans les cycles individuels de vie et dans l'histoire du Grand Être qui est le Logos Planétaire de la Terre. En conséquence, avant que l'homme n'ait pris certaines initiations et n'ait acquis une certaine mesure de conscience planétaire, il est inutile qu'il spécule sur ces faits passés. H.P.B. a fait allusion, dans la Doctrine Secrète , à la question des "Dieux imparfaits" et la clé du mal planétaire se trouve dans ces mots.

Deuxièmement. On pourrait dire brièvement qu'en ce qui concerne l'humanité, les termes mal planétaire et mal cosmique pourraient être interprétés de la façon suivante :

Le mal planétaire vient de certaines relations existant entre notre Logos planétaire et un autre Logos planétaire. Quand l'état d'opposition polaire sera résorbé, le mal planétaire cessera ; cet ajustement s'effectuera par la méditation (au sens occulte) d'un troisième Logos planétaire. Ces trois Logoï formeront un jour un triangle équilatéral et le mal planétaire cessera. Une libre circulation s'ensuivra ; l'obscuration planétaire deviendra possible et les "Dieux imparfaits" auront atteint une perfection relative. Le karma du manvantara, ou cycle secondaire, sera réglé et on se sera débarrassé d'une certaine quantité de mal planétaire karmique. Tout ce qui précède doit être interprété dans son sens ésotérique et non exotérique.

Le mal cosmique, du point de vue de notre planète, réside dans la relation entre cette Unité intelligente spirituelle, le "Rishi de la Constellation Supérieure" comme on L'appelle (qui est la Vie informant l'une des sept étoiles de la Grande Ourse, ainsi que notre prototype planétaire), et l'une des forces des Pléiades . Les étudiants doivent se rappeler ici que les "sept soeurs" sont appelées les "sept épouses" des Rishis par les occultistes et que les forces doubles (résultant de cette relation) convergent et agissent par l'intermédiaire de celui des Logoï planétaires qui est le Logos d'une planète particulière et le "reflet" d'un Rishi spécifique. Dans cette relation qui, actuellement, n'est pas parfaitement mise au point, se cache le mystère du mal cosmique ressenti dans tel ou tel schéma planétaire. Répétons-le, quand le triangle céleste sera dûment équilibré et que la force circulera librement dans :

a. L'une des étoiles de la Grande Ourse,

b. La Pléiade en question,

c. Le schéma planétaire en cause, le mal cosmique sera annulé et une perfection relative atteinte. Ceci marquera l'obtention de la perfection primaire et la consommation du grand cycle.

Le mal cyclique, ou mal tertiaire, se cache dans la relation entre les globes d'un schéma particulier, deux d'entre eux étant toujours en opposition jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient équilibrés par la force émanant d'un troisième. Les étudiants ne comprendront la signification de cet enseignement que lorsqu'ils étudieront les paires d'opposés dans leurs propres cycles et le travail équilibrant de l'Ego.

Un quatrième genre de mal résultant des conditions indiquées ci-dessus trouve sa principale expression dans les chagrins et douleurs du règne humain, le quatrième, et recevra sa solution de deux manières : par l'équilibre des forces des trois règnes (le règne spirituel ou cinquième règne, le règne humain, le règne animal), et deuxièmement, par le refus du pouvoir d'attraction des trois règnes inférieurs (les règnes minéral, végétal et animal qui forment ainsi une unité), par le règne spirituel civilisant le règne humain ou quatrième. Dans tous les cas, des triangles de force sont constitués qui, lorsqu'ils sont équilibrés, atteignent le but désiré.

On dit que la Magie Noire a fait son apparition sur la planète pendant la quatrième race-racine . Il faut se souvenir ici que, strictement, ceci signifie : en rapport avec le quatrième règne et l'emploi conscient de cette magie par des hommes incorrectement développés. Les forces du mal planétaire et cosmique ont existé depuis le début de la manifestation, étant latentes dans le karma du Logos planétaire, mais les êtres humains commencèrent à travailler consciemment avec ces forces et à les utiliser à des fins spécifiquement égoïstes pendant cette ronde et au cours de la quatrième race-racine.

Les magiciens noirs travaillent sous les ordres de certaines grandes Entités, au nombre de six, dont la Bible Chrétienne, par exemple, dit qu'ils ont pour nombre 666. Elles arrivèrent (étant cosmiques et non systémiques) sur ce courant de force émanant des niveaux mentaux cosmiques qui produisit les trois mondes de l'effort humain. Les étudiants doivent se souvenir ici du fait que les trois plans inférieurs de notre système solaire ne sont pas considérés comme incarnant un principe, car ils forment le corps physique dense du Logos et le corps physique dense n'est pas considéré comme un principe. Il y a une signification occulte dans l'expression "ne comportant pas de principe". Ces entités sont la totalité de la substance des trois plans inférieurs du plan cosmique physique (nos trois plans systémiques inférieurs) et c'est sous leur domination que les magiciens noirs sont entraînés dans l'activité, souvent inconsciemment, mais n'acquérant de puissance que lorsqu'ils travaillent consciemment .

Dans les premiers stades du développement humain, tous les hommes sont des magiciens noirs inconscients, mais ne sont pas "damnés" au sens occulte, pour autant. A mesure que l'évolution se poursuit, ils passent sous l'influence de la force du second aspect et la majorité y répond s'échappant des filets des magiciens noirs et passant sous l'influence d'une force de nombre différent. Les quelques-uns uns qui ne le font pas pendant ce manvantara auront "échoué" et devront continuer la lutte à une date plus tardive. Un faible pourcentage refuse volontairement d' "avancer" et deviennent les vrais "magiciens noirs". Pour eux, l'issue est toujours la même. Premièrement, l'Ego est coupé de la Monade, ce qui entraîne une attente de plusieurs éons jusqu'à ce qu'un autre système solaire se manifeste. Dans le cas de ceux qui ont "échoué", l'Ego se détache de la personnalité ou soi inférieur, entraînant un retard d'une durée moins longue, et laissant encore une chance dans ce système. Deuxièmement, un cycle d'existence, passé dans le mal sans limite, dépendant de la vitalité du corps égoïque détaché et de sa persistance innée. Ce sont les "âmes perdues" ordinaires dont parle la Doctrine Secrète . Si les étudiants réfléchissent à ces conditions et étendent le même concept à un système solaire antérieur et parvenu à plus de maturité, ils obtiendront quelque lumière sur le problème de l'origine du mal dans notre système solaire.

You will make a grievous mistake by considering the entities of the various Degrees and Orders of the White Lodge as finished products of Life, that is, as perfected beings in the sense that God is perfect, for so long as the Ego retains a body, whether that body is spiritual, astral, superastral, or physical it cannot be perfect in the sense that the Absolute is perfect. The gulf between spirit and matter is impassable ; matter must be reduced to pure energy before that gulf car be crossed.

So long as man retains the qualities of material existence, so long will he be dominated, to a greater or less extent, by the force of Jealousy ; he frequently confuses that force with the force of Zeal, which is rot surprising, as Zeal is the positive aspect of the force of which Jealousy is the negative aspect, and even a high Initiate may be jealous in the sense that Moses proclaims God to be jealous, that is, jealous for good instead of jealous of good.

I refer to this particular force among the many which are active in matter, for the reason that it is of the form of energy which is the basic principle of what man calls Evil.

The word Inertia comes nearer to expressing an idea of the character of the energy from which the qualities termed evil may develop than any other word in common use, and its purpose in the scheme of manifestation should be evident to the deep student of the mysteries of physics and metaphysics.

In one of the recent inventions of man, the phonograph, you have somewhat of an illustration of the processes of creation and manifestation of life by means of the creative impregnating energy of Sound.

The atomic substance of a note or a single utterance, traveling on etheric waves, is gathered up in a funnel shaped instrument of wood or metal and condensed to a single point. The concentrated force thus gathered is rot only powerful enough to make a visible indentation on some soft material but also carries and deposits the very substance of the utterance (the sounds), within the indentations. The sounds may be later reproduced when the point of another instrument attached to a corresponding funnel contacts the indentations which in the meantime have been transferred to a denser, heavier body termed a record. When the condensed sound stored up in the minute section of space created by the note or utterance meets the point in the second instrument by the action of friction it at once commences to expand, and finally comes forth through the second funnel with the same volume and force of its original utterance.

Correspondingly, the creative energy of Sound carried by Light is condensed, conserved and stored up in an infinitesimal point and deposited in the spaces surrounding the molecules of the vital essence of the semen of the mate and the ovum of the female.

These spaces partake of the nature of vortices and give entrance to or egress from interior states of life and also correspond to funnels. When the vital essence is deposited in the female uterus (which also corresponds to a funnel), the Inertia which has hitherto restrained it by shutting off the pranic forces in the spaces has been overcome, the two vital points have been released by physical contact and conception is concluded.

The principle of Form, impelled by Fohat (Sound), then guides the formation of the foetus to maturity.

The forbidden fruit of the Edenic Tree, the tree of good and evil, has its correspondence in the energy of Inertia. It is rot difficult to see how the mind of the student almost invariably rushes to the subject of creative power and function at the mention of the Tree of good and evil, though he may not be able to give a logical reason for it.

To render this truth comprehensible to those who are not analytical by nature is somewhat difficult, yet some concept of it is requisite to an understanding of the mystery of life. To gain this concept you must first consider all matter, force, and energy as in a state of pralaya and then imagine the effect of the first thrill, the action of Fohat (the concealed energy of sound), as all the hitherto composite, sleeping energies are aroused to action by "the Word", and separation between the different forms of energy occurs in perfect sequence.

Space as known to man had no existence previous to the action of sound – the Word – but commences to manifest with the expulsion of the first separated energy, and continues to grow with each release of energy until the first half of a. Manvantara is completed when with the indrawing of these expelled energies space also disappears. But what is more germane to our present subject – the source of Evil – is the Tact that Inertia is the first one of various forms of energy to be released in the process of the creation of Space.

We cannot consider either spiritual Light or Sound as forms of energy possible of release in any one world period in considering this particular subject, for spiritual Light is the revealing power of Sound ; the two are indissolubly united – they are the universal Androgyne. In other words, Light carries the creative word or sound which produces the thrill before mentioned at the commencement of such a world period.

As Light, impregnated by Sound, is breaking away from (darkness) Pralaya it meets the power of resistance stored up in Darkness, and in the great effort to overcome that resistance the energy of Inertia is brought forth from the same potential source, and this also must be struggled with and overcome before mass motion can be fully established and Light and Sound be left free to continue their function of creation in other fields throughout the cyclic round of Time.

Between the close of the third cyclic round and the beginning of the fourth round of every cosmic age, that which may be designated as the universal world germ is created as a result of the interaction and struggle of the aforementioned powers and energies within space.

As has been previously stated by me, impregnation is requisite to manifestation, whether that manifestation be the energies of Light and Sound, a cell of primordial matter, the form of a man, or any other thing or creature, and the universal world germ is conceived as a result of the impregnation of Space by the energies released in the before-mentioned struggle with Inertia.

The world germ contains in embryo the substance of all the world's suns, stars, and planets which will later come into manifestation as matter on the physical plane, within Space and Time, by means of the great Androgyne – Light and Sound.

All the processes, energies and functions instrumental in the creation of the world germ are latent in every differentiation of that germ and their action in such creation and differentiation is repeated and reproduced in each embryo when it is separated from the parent germ, and commences to build its individual world in whatever kingdom it is first to enter in natures realms.

Therefore each embryonic world must pass through a like struggle with Inertia in a condition corresponding to darkness – a negative state and in the struggle the forces which subsequently manifest as evil qualities in matter are pet free, and subsequently attracted to the forms of life in process of creation and they are thus attracted to the latter as a result of past karma ; consequently in our search for the ultimate source of evil we cannot stop short of the energy of Inertia.
